Hello! My name is Andi, and I am the owner and curator of Love Bird Bridal Shop, wife to Steve, and mama to a wild child named Gwen! I am also the designer of Andria Bird, one of the many bridal accessories collections carried at Love Bird. In fact, bridal accessories are how I got my start in the bridal industry. After going to school for special education, teaching for a short time, and then fulfilling my childhood dream of going to school at the Fashion Institute of Technology for fashion design, my best friend got engaged and started the search for her bridal gown. As I searched alongside her, I fell in love with veils, gowns, and everything in between. That was when I started Andria Bird. My first accessories collection was one of my proudest moments, and I continue to carry some of those pieces in my shop!

I opened my first bridal shop, Andria Bird Bride, soon after that in 2012. My first boutique was a modest 400 square feet in Newport, Rhode Island, where I lived at the time, and it was so great getting my start in the wedding capital of the country. My little bridal shop gained recognition in local wedding magazines and then in 2016 as one of BRIDE’S Magazine’s Best 50 Bridal Salons in the country. Around that time, I met my now husband, and we made the decision to move back to Connecticut to be closer to our families, since I was expecting my now year and half old daughter, Gwen. If you are already one of my brides, you’ve probably met Gwen or at least seen her on my Instagram! If you become one of my brides, she may pop into one of your fittings. She takes her job as a bridal stylist very seriously. Along with our move came a re-brand to Love Bird Bridal Shop, and we are now located in the equally quaint shoreline town of Mystic, Connecticut! It has been such a great move, and I have loved meeting my new Connecticut brides while still being able to work with my first loves, Rhode Island bride!

As the bridal industry changes, and brides have more choices than ever, I appreciate every last one of you lovely ladies who walk into Love Bird. I have always and will always strive to bring brides a relaxing, down-to-earth experience while shopping for one of the biggest purchases of their lives. I can’t wait to meet you, so please book an appointment with Love Bird! We always have the espresso maker on… let’s have a latte, try on dresses, and talk about your wedding to the love of your life. See you soon!

xoxo Andi
